Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is called a trance state. In trance state your mind and body are put into a heightened state of learning, making you more susceptible to suggestions for self-improvement or behavior improvement. Hypnotherapy can be used either as a stand-alone therapy or combined with other complimentary techniques.
In a hypnotherapy session, you are in complete control and hypnotic state makes the person better able to respond to suggestions given by therapist. It is completely safe as no once can be hypnotized against their will and even hypnotist cannot make them reveal secrets against their wish.

During your first session, you will be telling therapist your problem areas and goals. As per your case the treatment plan is discussed with you. As the session begins and once you enter a state of hypnosis, your body will feel calm and relaxed, you enter a state of increased awareness, similar to the way you might feel when meditating.Your therapist will speak to you in a calm and gently assertive voice, and place the suggestions you agreed to in your treatment plan into your subconscious mind.
